I'm reassembling my 67' convertible project and have noticed what appears to be the remainder of a ground wire (just a sheet metal screw and what is left of a broken wire), attached to the front of the core support just above and to the side of the drivers side horn. Does anyone know where this wire attaches?? Do the horns need to be grounded??
Thanks
The grounds for the horns are included in the forward lamp harness. Appears a former owner wanted/needed additional ground. I've seen horns grounded that way using one of the screws holding the horn halves together. Again, not necessary if the forward wiring harness is hooked up correctly.
