Default Ground Strap Mounts where?
Took it apart and honestly don't remember if this attaches to one of the intake bolts or not. Could someone chime in please?

If you have an assembly manual, the ground straps are shown. I don't have a '66 manual but the '67 manual shows this:

It goes right there, where the shielding bracket is bolted to the block

On a '66, the one to the accelerator lever goes under the shield bracket on the rear intake bolt as pictured in the AIM above.
