1963 VIN 18,295 built June 27, 1963

RD = 300hp w/ Manual Transmission

3782870 = 1963 casting number 327

Casting date= F 18 3= June 18, 1963
Assembly date = F 0619= June 19, 1963 F= Flint

Thank you. I “picked this up” in the late 1970’s when I worked at a wrecking yard. Coming from there I’m sure the original car is long gone. They had this stored in a building and had no history.

I'm not so sure #18 295 is long gone. I have it recorded but the only information I have is that it's a coupe.

Any way of telling when that number was recorded? I can’t imagine how this engine ended up in a boneyard if the car was not “totaled”. The owners of this yard would have never saved a core the way this one was saved/stored. I know other mid-years went through this yard I found other parts that arrived there before I started working there.

Unfortunately, he hasn't been online at NCRS for several years now.
Perhaps others may know if hez still with us, and has the car.
