I’m doing some work on my clock, when removing the side panel, I found this dangling light in the center console. This is from a radio delete car. The clock had both lights plugged into it so it’s not from that. Any thoughts on where this light should go? Perhaps this light was meant for the radio that’s not there?
Mounts in the slot in the bottom of and BELOW the clock housing marked by the orange arrows. It's supposed to light up the bezels, but it barely does even when right.

Yours is also missing a green translucent cover, it goes over the little slot to further reduce the amount of light for those controls. The current replacements are very soft and prone to tearing upon installation. Originals were a hard clear green plastic.

what a small world. im in London England doing the same thing. When you fix it in place it won't light up until the clock is in as the clock earths it.
