I had to buy new ignition and door locks. I used a paperclip to release the old ignition lock and the plunger and spring popped of the ignition switch. I assume the spring goes in first, but not sure which end of the plunger bears against the spring. I tried the The end with the longer larger diameter and can insert the lock and it turns with the key in, but it does not stop the lock from rotating to the release position. I assume I need to reverse the plunger, but it has been difficult to get the lock back in and rotating. Am I missing something?
