I recently inherited a 1962 vette from my dad. While we have a lot of memories in this car and I want to so badly keep it I am likely going to end up selling it. I am probably going to try to sell it locally before going through here or online auctions. The problem is, I am struggling to figure out what to ask for it. 2018 appraisal said $80k, but after doing research I’m not sure I’m convinced. It’s not a fuelie and does not have big brakes. To my knowledge it’s pretty much all stock as my dad is the one who restored it. Pictures are included, I would love to hear your thoughts on its value.
It looks like a very nice car that would be a good candidate for auction on Bring-A-Trailer, where it will pull whatever $$$ the market will bear at this time.
Base motor: $91,100 in #2 excellent condition, $61,400 in #3 good.
300 hp: $97,200 in #2, $65,600 in #3.
340 hp: $102k in #2, $64,400 in #3
Add 10% for the 4-speed...
I agree with this. I have a similar car, 65k all matching numbers, 300hp 4-speed, both tops. I have been offered $98k which I feel is about right, although I have no current interest in selling it.

Sorry about the loss of your Dad (just lost mine this past spring). Your Dad did what appears from here to be a nice job restoring and caring for it. I've got no hints on its value - other than be sure to show underside and engine pics to get better inputs on value - but good luck with the sale.
Ahhh nice, a 340 horse car. I agree with above in undercarriage pics to make sure, but this is at least an 80K car as it sits, assuming original engine. Would love to see a pic of the engine stamp pad. A shame you can't keep the car and sorry about your Dad. Looks like he did a great job on it. I am finishing a body off restoration on its twin.
