Hoping someone can point me in the right direction!
I have a 67 big block hood, in the 2 pieces it was made in, namely the outer and the inner. They are not bonded together as yet and i need the backing plates for the locks, support and hinges. According to the AIM (page G333) the part numbers are 3797100 plate lock, 2 required, 3797113 plate support 1 required, 3797056 2 required.
I have tried CC and a couple of other vendors with no luck.
I am happy to fabricate them if someone has a hood in the same condition as mine with the inner unattached maybe they could measure them for me?

I think your only option is to get them from a used parts vendor or find your own destroyed hood to scavenge (I'd guess small block hoods used the same hardware). I can't imagine hoods of any condition are readily available in Australia though. I looked on eBay and came up with nothing. I don't have any personal experience recommendations for a vendor but David Sokolowski [(310) 329-5334] in California seems to have a whole ton of various parts and lists "hundreds of hoods to choose from" in the latest NCRS Driveline classified magazine. If anyone has these plates, I'd guess he does.
