As I dig deeper into this gem, I'm finding more things catching my eye and trying to balance concern with manufacturing variation 60 years ago. I certainly never noticed this from the top side but looking from the bottom on my lift I can definitely see how the oil pan is canted. Sure enough, putting a level on the intake surface confirms what I'm seeing below. I know this car was in an accident and the frame was repaired. I'm trying to see how much variation is normal in the engine position and what the accident repair is contributing to this. Thanks in advance.
As fair as I know there is only two that will fit. The non locking mount pre 68 design and the locking type used after 68 And both have the same height dimension. Unless one has failed or something is mounted wrong

The right hand/passenger side of the oil pan is raised in comparison to the left/driver side...the frame may be tweaked on the right side. A good frame/alignment shop should be able to tell you pretty quickly.
I like your lift and jack......looks very similar to my Advantage lift, except how the jack move back and forth on the tracks. What a great tool it has turned out to be.
Good luck and hope it's just a sloppy mount or ??? installation.

Yep, having a 4-post lift was a life-changing event for me!
Do they appear to be stock style mounts? I only ask as you can play with the heights of them with aftermarket mounts. I'd also check to see if the mounts were shimmed in any way. Sometimes guys will throw a few shims under one side to gain clearance for things like headers, oil pans, accessory drives, steering shafts etc.
Well I definitely have two different motor mounts. Both are are locking, both measure 2-5/8 width, but they are physically different. One of each below.
I was going to suggest measuring the height of your frame horns at the front to see if there is any apparent twist but the engine mounts are quite a ways back so to be off that much at the mounts the front of the car would have to be very visibly off probably. Any interesting upper a-arm shim pack combos on either side? Sometimes that is a sign of something going on with the frame. Or maybe somehow one of the mount pedestals got tweaked from the oil pan being bottomed out or someone was a little rough dropping the engine into the chassis.

Good suggestion. I did measure at different points, and could only find a difference of 5/16" at one point. I ordered new motor mounts, I suspect that having two different designs is not helping the cause.
Just closing the loop here. Unfortunately, the frame repair was not done properly, and the passenger side is 9/16" higher than drivers side. Checking at the bottom of the motor mount bolt bosses, and to the frame gage holes. Very disappointing.

Thanks for following up. Sorry to hear that's the issue but it's exactly what I thought it might be. All the best getting the frame pulled straight
