I just noticed that the rubber stop on the drivers side hood latch has gone missing. Anyone know where I can buy a replacement without having to buy the whole latch? Thanks!
Just got the replacement rubber stopper and was wondering how the screw it sits on should be adjusted?. I never paid much attention to them before but since noticing the rubber missing I also noticed that the passenger side screw is set much higher than the screw on the drivers side. I understand how to adjust the screw just wondering what the proper procedure is for knowing/getting it fit at the correct height.

Install the rubber bumpers. Lower the hood to the pin stops. Gently push on each rear corner of the hood until it "clicks" shut and locked. Now, apply pressure to each rear corner of the hood with the palm of your hand. If the hood corner pushes down, the screw can be adjusted out some (not a lot...1/2 turn at a time) to compensate for the difference. Do this on both sides until you can barely push the hood down once it is sitting in it's locked position. The concept is to take out any small difference to compensate for hood vibration. A bit of trial and error.
