The spring is stronger at the differential. If I had to wrap straps around the spring to secure the back end, that's where I'd attach them.

I would put straps around the trailing arms close to the shock absorbers and cross the straps to prevent lateral movement. In the front, around the a-frames and also cross the straps. A fifth strap from the cradle in the front to the tongue of the trailer. But I always go overboard after I lost a newly painted Camaro off of the trailer when the chain hooks came loose. Luckily it was when leaving a stop light on the way to Indy to race.

I always put a short strap through the front a arms and over the rear axle, then grabbed them with a long strap, crossed.

Just a bit of advice from the Oem world

you do not strap down the suspension

The reason is is you have all that weight, flexing, vibrating, on the wheel bearings

That was happening and premature failure of wheel bearings peening the race surfaces was noted on brand new vehicles
failure a thousand miles later

Better to find a trailer you can strap down at the wheels

There are tie down slots in the frame that the factory used to transport C2's, using J hooks or T hooks.
