Stripping a rust proofed frame
My new bushings were quite a bit too big, and I didn’t feel comfortable trying to force a difference of about .065 into the crossmember, so I cut the new bushings outer sleeve to relieving the extra circumference. I drove one in about 1/2 way and it was snug but not overly too tight. I think when they are driven in permanently they will be just tight right. That will have to wait until after powder coating.
