Default Plexiglas back window

I’m wondering if this plexiglas back window is really a ‘56-‘60 style because the part number on the box say it’s a ‘56-‘60 but it has a notch on the bottom part making it more like the ‘61-‘62 style.

It did not fit on my 1962 hardtop and it was a little short and lacking about 3/8” so I ordered one from Glassworks for a ‘61-‘62 and it fits my hardtop.

The original GM box with the part number had the numbers crossed off.

Did any of the 56-60 back window come with the lower notch?
I measured 15 1/4” around the middle area of the window.
I have someone who wants to buy this part for his 1957 Corvette.

My guess is it's modified and they found out it still wouldn't work. Hence the good deal.

The back glass was acquired about 15 years ago when the previous car owner was starting to collect parts for the project car. I do not think that was the original box for the first back window part as it was not a '56-'60 back glass that the part number suggested. There would not have been a bottom notch/hump.

Our mistake was we did not use a ratchet strap on it when it was lacking about 3/8" at the bottom. The Glassworks plexiglass also seemed short but barely (only 1/8"-3/16") after the first fitting but the ratchet strap pulled it in nicely. Top to bottom on the GM part? and Glassworks both measured 15 1/4".

Glassworks said the '56-'60 window would be slightly larger and the ends slightly different also. They did not bother trying to give me exact measurements (for future reference) as they "DO NOT HAVE TIME TO DO THAT".

We were going to send them my cousin's other hardtop to rebuild but not anymore, they have enough business that they can just brush people off!
I asked why their videos show them doing the installs in 5 minutes or less but their videos skipped doing the process.
