Looking at 8 stack EFI, but only if it will fit under the stock C2 small block hood. Does anyone know of one (Speedmaster?) that will fit?
I would stay away from Speedmaster..Chinese. A stock small block hood will not
have enough room for a 8 stack. Those throttle bodies will need a couple of inchs to draw air.
Put a BB hood on and you are good to go.

Speedmaster seems pretty polarizing (positive and negative), but if it won’t fit under the small block hood, then they’re not an option for me. I’ve always liked the stock appearing look (exterior and interior) but less so for engine and/or suspension.
I’ve contacted Jim Inglese as well so I’ll report back.
I bought the Speedmaster cross ram and have been looking for Individual Throttle Body (ITB), EFI. The cross ram appears to be a Weber bolt pattern, and it looks like adapters would be necessary. The search continues. Older cross rams' w/Weber's occasionally appear for sale, $2500-4000. Don't see just manifolds.

Expect over 10 grand for his product. Clearing valve covers, master brakes etc. is important, make sure you have the room. The side draft
is not as efficient as the standard vertical throttle body/carb., Why bother with the system if you
are not making horsepower.

I heard back from Inglese today and they are developing a low profile SBC EFI unit, with the design "nearing final approval". I asked to put on the contact list for when it is available. It will be interesting to see if/how they address the issues you raised.
How built up does a 327 have to be to handle 8 injectors. What does it flow?
Good question. When I talked to Ingless, I have a BB650hp, he was not sure his 8 stack could support my hp. The Op did
not mention whether he had a stock SB or modified I guess you could buy a 8 stack efi for looks..
I am looking at a 8 stack Weber rig from another vender that is a lot cheaper. The only hiccup is finding a BB manifold. I have
a larger hood.
there is a grand sport cross ram on e bay right now. magnesium
Do you mean this one? If so, it is NOT a Grand Sport manifold. Real Grand Sport cross ram manifolds look totally different.
This is a manifold designed and made by L. B. MacKay for use on F5000 engines. MacKay made these in both aluminum and magnesium. It is compatible with the rare Weber DCO3 carburetors. To the best of my knowledge there is no current production Weber carbs which will fit such a manifold.
Well, I'll admit, looks are definitely part of the calculation. Of course, if it doesn't fit under the hood, I can't even get to the other questions. Basically, I'm interested in an EFI solution such as Holley Sniper EFI and the like. In researching the options, I learned that 8 stack EFI existed for the SBC (and not just LS motors, which I did not previously know). I asked about fit because buying a system on the *hope* that it might or *should* fit, seemed like a bad idea.
Inglese, if as described, promises a complete system. To me, "complete" includes not only the 8-stack, but injectors, EFI hardware/software, and everything else to and including the fuel tank. Maybe that will not turn out to be the case, but I'm interested to learn more once they have kits in production.

Inglese offers a complete kit from distributer and electric fuel pump to Holly hardware. He offers all kinds of extra options like chrome this and that, painted
throttle bodies, polished horns, you name it. My buddy has a SB and he bought the efi 8 stack setup and spent 14k. You still have to install
and Inglese units will start the car but you will be responsible for fine tuning. EFI still means tuning., no matter what anyone tells you.
