Default Passenger window alignment

Hello,
I have a 1966 Corvette Convertible with the hardtop installed. The problem is that the passenger side window glass is not aligned correctly,
(see picture) I’m looking for information on how to properly adjust it. Thanks all!
Hopefully you can see that it’s opened on the bottom. Fits well on top

Welcome to the Corvette Forum. I used to see your 66 Bigblock Roadster all the time at the local Sonoma County Show, like American Graffiti. Pic attached from the 2011 Show.
Sorry to hear about the unexpected body work that had to be done, my friend owns Lees AutoBody on the Boulevard. He sent me pics of it and it looks great.
On to the window, once you have the door panel off, the various attachments were originally sealed up with body-putty but good chance that's gone now.
There is a short stainless channel on the inside of the door, about where the armrest is located and the two 1/4-inch machine screws pass through slots on the inner door skin.
I've done two of my midyears in the last year or so and I wish I could tell you...'move this screw in the up/high position or down at the bottom of the vertical slot' but memory fades with time.
Suffice to say, it might take a little playing around to get it right but all the adjustments are on the inner door skin. Good luck and Great looking Bigblock.
By the way, I believe Erick at Lees told me yours was an L72? If so, check out this long running thread we have for folks who own L72s.
Some are bone stock, others like mine, not so much with replacement parts and all but they all started out as factory L72s. We have 60 owners who've posted pics and told us the history of their L72s.
We even have folks from overseas like Germany, France, Switzerland, Sweden and the UK.

thanks Mike for the information. Yea, it sucked that I had the mishap, but Eric did a great job and fixed some of the other issues with the paint. I’m very pleased with the results. I’m going to take a look at the door panel tomorrow and see if I can figure it out. Thanks again. Frank

Frank. Just installed my hardtop and dealing with the same issue. Attached a very thorough door anatomy document by Dave Zuberer that has helped me a lot. Cheers. Mark

After you get the side windows and vent frames adjusted to fit the hard top, now it’s time to adjust the soft top to the side windows and vent frames.

No Dave Zuberer document attached though.

Sorry, I messed that up, on the road now but will re-try when I get home. Mark
