Just bought my first 62 C1. Good price because it needs MANY parts. I've been building Tri Fives for the last 40 yrs and am on the Tri Five Forum. However when this one came up I thought I'd give a Vette a try. First thing I'm looking for is a Shop Manual so I can tell what's missing and if what's there is the right year. Example; It has a convertible top laying in the compartment but no place to mount it. The Head light Bezels aren't fitting right. Do I have a fender problem or the wrong Bezels? These and many other questions will need to be answered in the near future. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Having all the books is a good idea...Assembly manual, service manual for the corvette, service manual for the full size cars (the thick one from 1961 and the 62 supplement), parts book, etc.
But for most things like you mention, post pictures of what you have and what your concern is, and you'll find the answer quickly, folks here are happy to help you figure it out.! If you want to figure it out yourself, I've had great success using google to search for a topic, and including a search term for corvetteforum.
