Default Help with wire rims

I purchased my 1966 Coupe 427/425 with wire rims. I have been trying for an year to figure who made these. Does anybody here remember who may have produced thes?

They're either Dayton Wires or Weld Wheel Wires. Typically, the Weld Wheel had the wider wires (like yours) and the Dayton was a thinner wire.

Dayton Wire Wheel:

I have some just like them on my C1. They are stamped W.R. Grace & Co 1974 on the back side. W.R. Grace & Co owned Appliance mags in the 60s and 70s. When looking for replacement lug nuts I ordered them from the Lug Nut Guys for Appliance rims. They were the only lug nuts I could find that fit.

You are probably correct. I thought I could see adjusters on the OP rims but maybe not. The slotted mounting holes on the weld wheel may also be a clue.
im not a fan of wire wheels but they are kind of period correct and the wife likes them so…

These are different in that they are true spokes where they can be adjusted. Mine are fixed. Non adjustable.

Sorry so late. Mine do not have adjusters. They are a tighter pattern than the one shown. I will look at Dayton rims and W. Mace rims. Thanks.

Robert,
Don't know what W. Mace rims are but you, most likely, have Weld Wheels on your car...did you not read post #2?

You could pull one off and look at the back I guess. Here is a W R Grace and two Weld wheels from the back side.
