Distributor Replacement

Hopefully a simple question for to ask…

My distributor needs replacing and I am wondering which replacement distributor you gentlemen would suggest I go with?

I have a stock 1964 L76 327 4 speed

First, why does it need to be replaced. I have 4 older vehicles all running 60 year old distributors. They can be rebuilt.

If you just want something different then just ignore.

Actually, I have a few distributors that have wear on the shaft at the bushing locations. I don't know a good way to repair them. There are replacement shafts available from the vendors, but they do not provide details as to the Mechanical advance foot ball design.

The price is kinda stiff with the Corvette tax and shipping, but there is no reason a new shaft and bushings would not fix 90% of the original distributors.
It is not rocket nor drone science
