Just got my front bumpers back from the Chrome shop, took about 6 months. I was surprised at how they sent them back to me never seeing it done this way before. I have to say that the shipping was effective. It took me about 1/2 hour each to get them out. Chroming came out great! I used Ogden Chrome Plating in Ogden Utah. Regards, Marv
Ogden Chrome did my 67 Dodge bumpers way back in 08 or so... They were absolutely perfect when I got them back... Considering how big they were I was surprised at how straight and nice they came out....I can't say enough about how nice they came back to me....
You’re right they are pricey but I’ve found that trying to get cheap chrome work done just doesn’t pay. These bumpers needed a lot of straightening and I knew it would be labor intensive but decided to suck it up and get the job done right. I’ve also tried repop bumpers and was never satisfied with those as well. I feel I made the right decision doing it this way. Regards, Marv
