looking to find out if it is possible to disassemble and paint a Franklin mint car Corvette , hard to find a correct mosport green that isn't a messed up

looking at pictures online there are four screws on the under side of the model. I would think you can carefully take it all apart and paint it.

They can be taken apart. But remember that many of the plastic parts - bumpers, trim, etc..., is glued in and may break upon removal. You will lose the emblem decals in the process as well.
I would expect getting the correct color match could be just like trying to match a real car - painful.............
