Has anyone had trouble installing a steeroids power rack and pinion on a 62 vette? The pressure line is hitting the chassis and i cant bolt up the rack. It seem the brackets are not in the right place.

Yes, I have put steeroids in a 62. It is junk. Steeroids is absolutely no help. Their guy, Tim, is a useless idiot. The list of problems is immense. I can help you, as steeroids won't. I had the rack in and out 5 times to get it to fit at all. Wait till you get to running the PS hoses!!!! Send me a message and we can talk on the phone. Lots to cover...
Assemble in place with all the bolts loose as much as possible. You may need to use long pins to line up things to get the bolts on. Walk away for a while and try again. It likely fits with a few adjustments and a grinder. Home brew engineering takes craftiness and resiliency. You may be unfamiliar with the lack of precision of these old used cars.
