Well I got the new motor done, pulled the old one and decided to rebuild the steering box while it was out, clean up and repaint, the engine compartment, pull the speedo and tach to get them rebuilt, while dash is out, what the heck we're halfway to having the windshield off so pull windshield to replace ratty cracked glass seals. Might as well pull the heater motor and rebuild it as its starting to make noise, Well lets see as long as we're this far might as well replace the carpets, since I want to improve autocross handling now's the time to build a bigger front anti roll bar, oh man where do I stop. Last time I did this 25 years ago and I've forgotten what a contortionist you have to be to get at some of that under dash stuff. My old body's achin and I'm hoping for some sympathy here. :yesnod: Well when I get it back together I aim to drive the daylight our of it and leave the next time to my heir's. Twice in a lifetime is enough. Now for a cold ,some Ibuprofen, and some
Ah yes, be careful those minor problems have a way of gettin out of hand damn quick.... As for the dash get some 1/4X20 by 4" bolts at the hardware store, take out the left and right end screws in the dash and replace them with the 1/4 X 20's, this way the dash can "slide" in or out and significantly cut down on the amount of Ibuprofen needed....
Funny, I did my cluster last year, and I remember that it was quite a chore twisting around underneath that thing to get everything hooked back up. Yikes.
