I've got a 66 roadster...(and another dumb question)
As I was working on the shift linkage and hooking up the Neutral Safety Switch a friend stopped by and we got to talking about why they called this car an automatic 3-speed. The shift plate indicates two drive gears (D=Drive and L=Low). So whats the third gear?? Did they consider Reverse a third gear??
(By the way, inregards to UPS deliveries.....My parts show up fine, however they've taken out my mailbox, twice now!!!)
Maybe EdT can shed some light on this one :p: :p: I can't really help you bro, I've never heard of anyone calling them a 3spd :skep: I've always heard them called "2 speed Powerglides"??
