Shorter Coil
The ol 66 was stumbling at WOT, so I did the basics..... new points, rotor, cap. I had a new coil on the bench so I installed that as well.
Ol 66 now runs like a raped ape... BUT.... The coil I had is about a half inch taller than my old one. Just enough to keep from putting the ignition shield lid back on.
Went back to the parts store (Advanced and NAPA). Niether had a shorter coil in stock. Anyone have a part # for a shorter coil I can cross reference? I'd really rather find one locally rather than ordering through the catalogs.
