Fresh Block?
wheres the place to go if you wanted to buy a brand new never used big block? im not talking a crate engine, just the block itself? Is chevrolet doing anything like that?

im not concerned about the price. isnt there like a gm performance parts division? i own a c4 so im not new to vettes as a whole, but this would be my first time through with an older chevy so im trying to get a feel for where i can buy parts. i would really like to build my own engine, start with a completely brand new engine, preferably a 427 or a 502, aluminum if possible, and like i said, im not concerned about the price. i want to do it right. i see the ads for gm parts direct above, but that doesnt seem to be very comprehensive.
