63 COUPE
My eye is ALWAYS on the lookout for a '63 Coupe project. With that in mind, there is a term which I find most annoying:
1963 SPLIT WINDOW COUPE
Was there a '63 coupe produced without being split window. (owner modified one piece conversions excluded)
It is my understanding that ALL 1963 Coupes were split window. To say '63 SWC seems as redundant as "convertible ragtop." Duh!
I certainly do not mean to sound churlish, BUT...

Re: 63 COUPE (FASGLAS)

Re: 63 COUPE (FASGLAS)
All 63 Coupes had the split rear window, none were factory produced for sale the to the public without it. 63 Grand Sports excluded...

Re: 63 COUPE (FASGLAS)
Just look at it this way- we are catering to the uninformed masses who believe that there was a "split-window" version of every year Corvette from '53 to '82......

Re: 63 COUPE (FASGLAS)
Believe it or not, some people do not know that 1963 was the only year with a Split Window. I have had people try to tell me they were made in 64 too.
Like previous post said, we are stating it for the masses .....
