Anyone get invited to the GM driving experience at the Nassau Coliseum?
They let you drive as many cars as you wanted as many times as you wanted.
They had 10 new Corvettes there. I got to drive a ZO6. What a blast.
I spent over five hours driving the cars. I drove them hard through the courses so much I made myself car sick so I had to quit.
I even got to drive the Hummer! :D
The best was there was no sales people there and they supplied food.
That's one of the 1960's "XP-something" mid-engine prototypes that was built as a partnership with Alcoa aluminum; Chevy had it on display at the NCRS National Convention at Monterey last August.
I asked the same question but no one there could tell me there method of selection. There was some cross section of America there. Some of them should not be driving anything with and engine!
It was a real blast.
