Where can you find a J-544-A , a tool used to check the load on the steering gear, while adjusting the worm bearing and then the lash adjuster as mentioned in the C1 Corvette Servicing Guide. Or does anybody have another option besides "by feel" etc. :steering:
Hey John
What kind of fish do you catch? Sunfish?
Well, don't feel bad, my dad catches them too, and he eats them.
And some do weigh 6 ounces. I just didn't know they made fish scales for fish that light. Maybe a bait scale :D
I tried the fish scale and it did not seem to work for me. I bought a KD tool inch pound torque wrench (beam scale $38) that worked great and for which I had other uses. I do not know if I can tell you where I got it but I found it by searching on the internet. If you cannot find it, email and I will let you know where I got it.

Maybe I should have said "pet store" for a Goldfish scale :D Obviously, I'm not a fisherman :jester
