Default Bonding adhesive

Ive finally got my frame sitting on the ground with 4 wheels, so now its time to get the body in shape. I have to do extensive work such as new floor sections and a new front clip. What is the best adhesive to use? Is the original style Vette Bond good or is the newer gun applied glue better? Also, can you remove the original front end without damaging it? Someone may want to buy it if I can get it off.

Thanks!

Default Re: Bonding adhesive (65ZR1)

As a retired autobodyman with a lot of corvette experience in the early years, the new guntype adheasives are far supierior to the old way! Lord Fusor is the best if you don`t mind paying for it! (most expensive too). As to saving your old frontend, you of course have to have the doors off, you can drive some sort of a wedge between the bonding strip and the outer panel and just keep working down with it!, you have to do it at all the bonded areas but it can be done! You are however going to crack it in a few places but the next guy can easily repair them! :smash:
