C-1 Convertible Top
I just wanted to show off my top. It took some time but with the Al Knoch video and a few calls to him, I finished it.
If anyone is interested in doing it don't hesitate to email me.
I would recommend his top and video to anyone who is going to do
it themselves.

Hey It looks great.
I'm going to tackle this job in the next few months. Is there anything that the video missed that I should know about?????
Mark.

Very, very nice. I never can get all the wrinkles out on the quarters. Guess I need to look at that video next time.

Re: C-1 Convertible Top (62fuelie)
His video was excellent. I borrowed one of the TV/VCR combos and put it in the garage while I was doing it so I could always refer to it.
The only thing I changed was the foam that he put in the pads. I installed the pads and then the top, but when I stretched the top there where large bumps at the rear of the pads where it is sewn.
I removed the front part of the top and removed his thin foam pading and replaced it with jute like it shows in the video. It looks much better.

58Mike, I will be in San Fransico on Sept 8th, it's our 30 aniversary.
Will that help?

Sadly, I don't think this thing'll be driveable by then, but I appreciate the offer!
