I saw an NOS C2 spindle on Ebay not long ago.
If you advertise on the forum C1 C2 parts board, somebody will have one.

Sorry, I forgot to mention my car is a 65. Sometimes at work we have an electrical apparatus shop in town repair shafts by "metalizing" the shaft. Sort of like electrtoplating, but not sure. If I have to, I will speak to them on Monday! Thanks! :smash:

I have used a "spray weld" technique to build up large shafts (4-6" in diameter), but I'm not sure that would work well on a small shaft. I gather the area where the bearing race goes is worn and needs to be built up. Any good machine shop should be able to weld up that area and machine it back to spec. Alternately, a good used one ought to be readily available from eBay, swap meet, Driveline, or any of the catalog vendors.
