Hey,
I first posted this it the C3 section, but I dont think they are woried it....Yet. I am going to order one of the Car Bubbles before winter. Does anyone have one, what do you think, Pros/Cons, deferent makers. I see the one in Elcker's catalog don't know if there's better out there. It seems like a good investment especially up here in the snow belt.
I saw those demonstrated at a car show once. The seller claimed cats won't jump on it because they can't see a real surface to land on. However, it would seem that if a cat decided to sharpen his claws on it, you could end up with a disaster. For your situation, I'd be more inclined to consider a car cover and a nylon or canvas portable garage. See Coverit.com.
I cannot for the life of me imagine what possible advantage one of these covers offer! They do not keep the car dry since thay are constantly pumping air into the bubble. Likewise, they do not keep the car any more dust free than a standard cover. They look like a giant pain-in-the-butt cover that allows you to see your car when it is covered. I think that they offer the illusion of a hermetically sealed, controlled enviroment for your car, when in reality they are anything but!

I not only have one but 2! I have had these for about 6 years now and have been totally satisfied. I would recommend that you put a cover on the car first so you don't get any scratch marks on your car when it inflates and deflates. What I like best is the fact you have air movement around and through the car, no condensation! Don't have to worry about the kids rubbing up against it or the rake falling off and hitting it! My cars stay as clean as the day I put them in there. Don't have to worry about mice or putting and moth ***** to keep other animals away either. Just my 2 cents worth.
