Voltage Regulator questions
Can you get correct regulators anywhere? The LICS catolog says the cover is incorrect can you swap on an original cover?

Sure. There are two screws on the GM one. Some aftermarkets use rivets but you can drill them out and screw on the original cover (assuming you have one).

Original regulators have both a part number and a date code stamped on them. Replacements don't, whether the cover is correct or incorrect. John Pirkle can provide you with a correct regulator, rebuilt, with the right PN and date code for your application. Chuck
