Tracy Performance

Folks,

anybody had any dealings with Tracy Performance as far as buying a block and/or engine from them?

I have heard some not so nice things about the business practices. A friend with a 63 split window coupe was notified in an investigation that the transmission from his stolen Corvette showed up in Tracy's hands.

You results may vary.

Not as any defense to Dennis, but he buys and sells used parts just like anyone on the forum has for sale. It`s merely buyer beware! Oh, by the way, all 63 coupes had the funny window that you couldn`t see out of except those of us that cut them out in 64 to have better visibility. :thumbs: :D

Have purchased a correct intake from him. Was in great condition as advertised. No problems with transaction. His prices are a bit on the high side but, I think he tends to deal in quality used parts (won't sell junk).

Just my .02 cents worth.
