It Lives!
After more than 5, yes 5, years at the shop, the 490 roared to life yesterday. Open headers, 110 octane racing gas, pollution spewing monster, Tim Taylor would be proud. Frikin' finally! :yesnod: Life is good. :cool:

Feels good! Went by the shop today and fired it up for 10 min or so- open headers, racing gas fumes, and the building was a shaking. Made a tear come to my eye. Clutch is still untested. Need to put in the shifter, then will test it next week. When it gets finished, we need to get together and show Houston a little style.

Sounds good. I've got a little over 1000 miles on mine since I got it back on the road. Having a blast! Went to a cruise in deal in the Woodlands sat. night. It's great in a ragtop at night!
