Some Praise
I just got my Vette back on the road after a 3 week garage "vacation" because of a blown tranny.
I would not have happened if it wasn't for the excellent help of two vendors, Scott, from garagemotorsports.com, who supplied the rebuilt M22 and Pete, at precisionpontiac.com who drove to the airport on Monday night so I could have the new Hurst levers for the install.
Also Automatic Transmission Ctr. in S.F. for the great work at installing everything and having the patience to leave the Vette on a rack for a week while I searched for the right parts.
If anyone needs Muncie or Hurst help, these are the guys!

Congrats motro!! How's that new tranny feel, is it smooth thru the gears, how's it sound, etc? I'm glad your back on the road. BTW, what was wrong with the other tranny with the noise thing?

The tranny is great. I have a "sachs" clutch which is smooth and the tranny has that famous "rockcrusher whine in first and second. I'm not sure what's wrong with the old one but it did sound like a broken tooth on the imput shaft since it made a noice in every gear, and neutral
I never realized how much I missed driving the Vette until I couldn't for the last three weeks.
