What color should the wheels be on a 58 with full hub caps? :confused:

 

I'm almost positive that the steel wheels came from factory gloss black.
some dealers may have changed color to body color with the smaller hub-caps. Most pictures from the era I've seen were black, usually even had
chrome lug nuts & a chrome front hub cover.

All 58 wheels are silver in color on the face and black on the backside.\

As John said, 58 is unique. All silver regardless of body color. Chuck
