It must be great to be in a place where a punch in the nuts and a sharp stick in the eye is accepted as a warm greeting between old friends.

My wife grew up in Jersey and went "Down the Shore" as a kid looking for hunkie guys. Just for local color her nephew went to school with jon Bon Jovie and allegidely we can get tickets anytime we want. Do we want Bon Jovi tickets????? I dunno.
Anyway we met at school in Refined, Gentrified, Rural, Bucolic Storrs Ct. Trips home to Jersey at the holidays to see mom and dad were always a thrill....Route 22, Da Pawkway, Thanksgiving traffic on the Tappan Zee what a wake up call for a kid who never saw a 6 lane interstate. Once when we crossed the "Zee' and entered Jersey. I reached behind the drivers seat of the old GTO and pulled out a gas mask my buddy had taken home after and Nam and other desireable postings. Pulled it over my head while she was zoning out looking at god knows what. Good laugh, we still smile when reminded of that day.
Now I am in Atlanta, Land of the Traffic Jam Huh? How did that happen?????
I would really like to do some crusing up there sometime. Trouble is all sorts of other stuff gets in the way. I suppose there is always retirement. Lezzsee retirement, fix the control arm busings, change the rear gears out, add A/C and get a top..gotta have a top else how do ya keep the cool in and the rain out? Someplace along here the average retired guy RUNS OUT OF MONEY back to work part time. Ahhhh this is so circular.
