Default Brake pedal clevis

I'm in the process of rebuilding the clutch and brake pedals. Everything is going back in place smoothly except the brake pedal has two holes in it and I don't remember whether it was the top hole or bottom hole that the clevis rod went to.
Is there a reason for two holes. I don't have power steering if that matters

Thanks in advance, Mark

Two holes are for power and non power brakes. You can't use one hole (say the one for power) with a non power master cyl. It just won't work. The only one that fits without pushin and grunting and bending is the one you need for the way your car is equipped.

Top hole = manual brakes; bottom hole = power brakes.

Mark, I need to rebuild my pedal set up, the bushings are worn and was wondering how tough a job was it?
