C'mon Chuck -- you are being modest. That is exactly where it goes. From the 66 JM -- " an engine code identification sticker is located on the rear end of the right side valve cover "
check your mail..... i've seen them stuck on centered on the rear surface of the valve cover, as well as well as at some odd angle, it wasn't really done with care
Nah...not being modest, but I don't have a 66 JG. Most I've seen go there. Here's another thought......individual letters, i.e. "L" and "M" each individually glued there, or a single label "LM"? Thoughts? Chuck
66's had a single label with two letters on it; doesn't show up in the A.I.M., as it was part of the engine as received from the engine plant.
LICS has the correct ones for midyears - I believe the "separate-letter" types started with some C3's, although that's still up for grabs according to some C3 folks.
