I'm interested in knowing how you folks compile and display the information and history of your midyears as you gather it. Is it in the form of a photo album with templates identifying previous owners, options, pictures,....etc..
Also... what types of information is included in a 'complete vehicle history' ?
TIA
I have two binders with plastic sheet protectors for the service records, POP, warranty book, original owners manual, etc. I plan to type up a sheet with the previous owners names, contact information, etc..
I have a separate photo album of my photos of the car, along with photos that I have received from prevous owners.
Being organized like this will help protect your documentation and will help at resale time.
If your interested in showing the car, a "Judges Handbook" or binder with before and after shots showing interesting features of the Vette. Most Judges prefer to look a car over without the owners help. The handbook will help guide them to look for those hidden out of sight improvements so often missed as what was really done to the cars. Include the history here if available. Early Vettes historys are what comes with the car as there is not much available if any from GM
Appreciate the replies. I like the idea of a 'Judges Handbook' that would list all pertinent info about the car.....maybe with some pre-made templates... a section for photos....Anyone ever seen something like this for sale anywhere?
A large photo album that you could just name on the front "Judges Handbook" could easily be made up with all your personal touches with a directory as the first page leading to different pages with all the facts and pictures of your improvements history.
