Just got my '65 BB vert back from the paint shop. They took it to bare glass (hand-blocked, no chemicals); sealed it; shot it with tinted primer; base coat, clear coat. I'm pretty pleased. :D
Thanks, Scott, Mike and Dean. :seeya But, no, Mike, you can't have the hood! If we swapped, I don't think your hood would clear on my motor!
And don't worry, Scott, I'll be driving it. I drive it almost every day it doesn't rain. When I tell people that, they laugh and suggest that I'm afraid to get the car wet. Actually, it's me that doesn't like to get wet and this IS NOT a dry Corvette!
BTW, Mike ... Did you get your transmission back together or is it still on your workbench?
Funny you should ask.
The transmission is done, but I pulled the motor today.
Figured as long as everything was apart what the heck.
Trying to figure out which way to go with it. Freshen it up
abit, or go with something with a little more pep.
Looks great, but I would ditch those earplugs. There is no better sound than the symphony of pistons from a side pipe big block. Happy Vetting.

Wow, Mike, you're care will be mechanically fresh by the time for CI-V! :D
Hey, Tommy. I love the sound of the car. Nothing like a BB with sidepipes for sounding great! :yesnod: But if I drive it at 75-80 for an hour or more, I start to get a headache if I don't put the earplugs in!
