Hey guys, my boss decided to a full restoration on his 59, and I saw an ad a while ago that advertised all the suspension and goodies of a C4 that you can slap your C1 body on top of. Does this exist? Where do I find or who do I contact about it? He wants to keep his original body, but he wants the suspension and handling of my 85.
Thanks guys, I printed out all the info I need, and wouldn't you know it... my boss left for the day. But I'm pretty sure I could get him to sell the old frame, cause what else is he going to do with it? How much you think he could get for it? I'll give him a call later today with all the info, then I'll catch him at work monday to try and extract a decision from him.
I would trade in my C4 in a heartbeat for a C1, especially with a C4 frame. Maybe when I'm no longer a kid :D
Here are some pics of a SRIII frame that I am finishing up on right now.
I think that they build the absolute best frame on the market, and one of the least expensive. To say that I am pleased would be the understatement of the year! http://www.villagephotos.com/pubbrow...elected=434006
john is right about the SR frame two of my buddys are building on that frame right now. one is a 57 the other a 55. paul newmans frame setup is to wide you have to blow out the fenders or run an off set wheel like the late models.
