I have insalled a new Lectric Limited wiring harness in my 67 coupe. There is supposed to be a circuit breaker in the wiring for the headlights. I see where it goes{ connects to 2 red wires} but no one I have talked to at the local parts stores know what I need. I called Lectric Limited & the tech guy said he did'nt know anythimg about it. Is this a GM dealer only item & can anyone tell me anything about it?
Thanks Brooksie
The circuit breaker for the headlight up-down switch is a 30-amp self-resetting breaker, and is mounted on the inboard side of the driver's side hinge pillar, just above the top of the kickpad (there will be two of them if the car also has power windows); it has two threaded studs on it, and the ring terminals on the red wire ends go over the studs and are secured with nuts. The circuit breaker for the headlight bulbs is internal to the headlight on-off switch.
