Default Carpet problems

I installed Al knock carpet in the 67 and the fit was not very good around the transmission tunnel, it bulged up. So does ACC carpet fit any better then Al knock? And if not what would be a good way to fix the bulge in the carpet

When I installed Al's carpet in my '63 it went in very well except I did have to trim a lot of carpet off around the center console area. I had to go very slow and measure 3 or 4 times and then trim a little the measure 3 or 4 times again! Also, I only glued a smalll area at a time. Starting at the front bottom working my way back to the center bottom. Then I did about halfway up from the front to the center. Then I did the same thing from the center to the back.

But, when I was done, I thought that it looked very good.
