As most of you guys can tell, I'm smack dab in the middle of reworking this car. I have many small questions that keep popping up I have no answer to.....I have the 327/365 no air. What side does the coil bracket go on, passenger or drivers side?
P-side, making it hard to get a wrench on the distrib hold down bolt
since the coil bracket supports the ignition shielding it is shown in this LIC catalog page (pretty useful for those of us asking "where the F-- does this go?") for ignition shielding:
moving one thing begets more issues. Your wire harness (to the coil, anyway) will be disturbed, not too much extra length built in. I also am not sure if the stock coil bracket can be "flipped" around, without persuasion anyway. finally, your throttle cable might be in the way.
There I go again....not thinking clearly. I didn't think about the throttle linkage and other crap on that side. Forgive me, but I still don't have the body back on the frame yet. So It's not clear to me the things that might get in the way. I do plan on sitting the body back on this weekend.
