Oh, the purple one with the silver stripes.

I really like the look of that car and I haven't seen those wheels on a C2 before.

Thanks

WOW !

Well, I guess that makes my next question, if they would fit on a stocker, seem pretty meaningless.

Thanks!

Seaside63,

Kinesis makes that wheel in 17x7-8.5. They would fit with the proper size and offset. Very spendy at $780 a piece though. Kinesis is located in Vista, CA. BTW, my wifes aunt/uncle and several cousins live in Mission and Alisa Viejos. I'll drop you a line if I'm in the area.

[QUOTE]That particular car looks good- but I really don't like that "Connestoga-Wagon wheel with O-Ring tire" look in general. Those setups usually look lost in the wheel wells-
IMHO, it's important to retain the same (or a little more) outside tire diameter- in order not to screw up the car's design lines. That's more important than wheel size.

I agree, there should be a certain amount of tire sidewall in proportion to the rim to make the car look "right". BTW ALL the C2s in this thread are looking sharp as hell, I cant wait to fit a set to my roadster.

Im including a link for calculating proper tire size when you upgrade to a larger diameter rim. I found that a 215/75/15 cross references with a 235/60/16 almost exactly, and a 225/55/17 is within2% of the original outer tire diameter. What sizes are on these cars? The silver 67 coupe seems about perfect.

Anyone running 17" with 26.5-27" diameter tires? Something like 255/60? Got pics?

Just to let you know I think he said he had the same wheels and tires on the Silver coupe as he does on the red coupe.. I think he is running a little different tire than I am. I'm running a 225/50/17 and I think he said that he was running a 215/50/17... 17x7 4" bs

Dave..
