Midyear Decklid Drainage problem??
OK, I removed my decklid springs and found the screws rusty and a bitch to remove. Since the car is apart, I decided to attempt to rustproof this channel these screws thread into. When I sprayed my rust converter (endrust) I observed the endrust trying to come back out the upper drain hole in the decklid fiberglass gutter. Is this the intended design of GM? If so, how have others rustproofed this area? If I have to live with this, then maybe I'll use POR and dribble some into the drain hole and let it run its course and catch it below. Anyone have any ideas or solutions on this topic? Thanks
