I need some help converting my original tires to nowaday tires. I searched the site and the best I have come up with is that a 6.70 x 15 is a 205. However on my 67 I currently have 775 x 15. So I would be guessing maybe 215? If anybody can give me a true confimation on that it would help a lot. Thanks

I put 215 70R15's on my 65 and they seem to fit well - Pirelli P4000 Super Touring. Check the archives there has been much discussion both here and on the NCRS board.
7.75-15 and 215/70-15 have the same revs/mile spec - 775. If you're lucky you might be able to find some Z-rated Pirelli P4000 Super Touring tires in stock at The Tire Rack or elsewhere. They are out of production, but some stock may remain.
The next best choice is the V-rated Michelin MXV4 Energy in the same size.
Goodyear Integrity 205 75R 15's on my 65 Vert. I can send a jpg, if you need one. They fill the wheel openings, nicely and don't rub. I put Diamond Back classics redlines on my 68 Camaro SS convertible. I've been pleased with them, also. I went several sizes over on the SS. They look great but rub at the front when you turn hard. Oh well.
I have the GY Integrity 205/70-15's on my 64. even though they are a little smaller diameter then the 205/75-15's or the original 6.70-15's, the speedo calibration checked out within 1/2 MPH at 60 MPH when checked against my C5.
