Default Question for C1 Guys

I am looking for a plain white, no shift pattern, shift ****.I want to put it on the Hurst shifter on the 65. In pictures I have seen of many C1s, the **** look plain white. Do they have the shifty pattern embossed on them? What is the **** diameter? What is thread is used? Is the thead a metal insert or just tapped into the plastic ball?
Thanks
Tom

The original **** for most C1 cars is just a plain white plastic **** with no shift pattern. The pattern is always screwed to the shifter boot bezel. The original **** was threaded directly into the ****, but most replacements for the last 20 years had the brass insert in them.

One of these ***** might work on the Hurst, but they are a lot smaller than the Hurst ****. Not sure if the threads are the same, but if memory serves, the Hurst is going to have larger threads.

I have been using a cue ball. I just drilled and tapped the hole then screwed it on the shifter.
