I have one headlight stuck up, the other one goes up and down fine.
until I can get the other motor replaced, is their anything i can do to manually put the other one down???
I drive mostly in the day now anyways....and it would olnly be temporary. I want to take it out tomorrow and would rather have both lights down than both up.
If the motor is running you may have a worn gear and a little nudge should be enough to engage it and get it closed. If the motor is not running, you can reach the motor by raising the hood and reaching between the hood openning and the front of the car. Make sure you place a screwdriver in the support so the hood doesn't slam on your arm. There is an external "gear" on the motor that you can turn by hand that will manually open or close the door.
BTW, don't run out and buy a new motor just yet. They are fairly simple to repair and new gears are available. Do a search on this forum to find some good pictures and step by step instructions on how to repair them yourself. Good luck.
